Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how DashFlow Solutions LLP uses cookies and similar technologies on thedashflow.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your preferences, understand how you use pages, and improve your experience. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, which stores small amounts of data in your browser.
2. What we use and why
Strictly necessary (no consent required)
- dashflow-theme (localStorage) — remembers your light/dark theme preference. Persists until you clear browser data.
- dashflow-cookie-consent (localStorage) — records your cookie banner choice so we don't ask again.
- PHP session cookie — used briefly when you submit the contact form, including for spam and rate-limit protection. Expires when you close your browser.
Analytics (set according to your consent where required)
- Google Analytics 4 (cookies beginning with _ga) — helps us understand page visits, traffic sources, and feature usage in aggregate. Retention is controlled in our GA configuration (typically up to 14 months). IP addresses are processed by Google as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Third-party embeds
- When you open our booking form (Tally) or follow links to LinkedIn, those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.
3. Managing cookies
- Our banner — choose Accept or Decline when the cookie banner appears. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and revisit.
- Browser settings — all major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect site features such as theme preference.
- Google Analytics opt-out — install the GA opt-out browser add-on.
4. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date.
